Program Details

This program welcomes children of all ages with parents or caregivers, and is designed to engage both children and adults. We will explore local habitats and their resident plants and animals, work on related STEAM projects, and practice a few skills for fun and safety outdoors. We will be outdoors in rain or shine. Our rhythm will include a short hike from the parking area to our base site in the forest. The trail may be navigable for some strollers, but has a few rough patches. --------- This program is offered on a sliding scale and a 'pay what you can' format. Please reflect on which price best fits your family's financial position, and go ahead and sign up! 100% price covers expected materials and administrative costs, pays me a stipend for my time, and supports equity by offsetting the other payment options for families who need to pay less. 75% covers materials and administrative costs and pays me a stipend for my time. 50% covers materials and administrative costs. 'Pay what you can' is just like it sounds! If your family cannot afford the 50% rate right now, but you wish to participate in this program, select the "pay later" option and I will follow up via email so you can pay what you can in cash or Venmo.
